Most people find that it’s a good idea to ensure their belongings are packed correctly by using the services of our expert packers. Our packers are professionally trained and use specially constructed cartons ranging from dish packs to wardrobes to mirror packs to keep your possessions safe from damage. After each carton is packed, it is labeled for identification and a description of the contents added so that it can be delivered directly to the proper location in your new home.
Crating is available at your request, for those unusual and hard-to protect items that must be safeguarded. Anderson Bros. Movers are experts also in the handling of antiques, fine art and pianos. If you prefer to do your own packing, we will be happy to provide you with the packing materials needed and delivery of those materials whenever it’s convenient for you.
There are several plans available for our customers from cost-free to full replacement coverage. We will be happy to explain all plans in detail so that you can make the right choice to suit your individual needs. Keep in mind that your homeowners policy may cover “Goods in Transit” – it is always a good idea to check with your insurance agent for this type of coverage information.
We are often asked, “do the men accept tips” or “what is the standard tip?” In reply, yes they gladly accept tips and no, there is no “standard” tip like you might give to a waiter in the amount of 15% or 20%.
Tips can vary from cold bottled waters, sodas, lunch, or cash. Cash tips typically vary from $20.00 to $100.00, however, any amount would be generous.
The hard-working employees of Anderson Bros. Movers would never “expect” a tip, however, any tip would be appreciated for a job well done!
